Meet the Market: Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery

June 26, 2025

Meet the Market is our weekly vendor spotlight, where we introduce you to the incredible small businesses that make up the heart of our Saturday Farmers Market at the Menands Market Pavilion at 381 Broadway in Menands, NY. From longtime local makers to new favorites, we’re sharing the stories behind the booths, so you can get to know your market even better. This week, we’re excited to introduce you to Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery.

At A Glance

For more than a decade, Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery has been crafting small-batch spirits in Fort Ann, NY, using pure spring water and locally sourced ingredients. Whether it’s their smooth bourbon or their crowd-favorite Cowboy Coffee liqueur, everything they make reflects a love for quality and craft. This week, we’re highlighting their story and what makes their spirits stand out at the market.

Interview With Leon White

What do you sell at the market?
We sell NYS craft, farm-distilled spirits.

When and how did your business get started?
David Bannon started his dream of starting a distilling company in December of 2014. He and his family/friends started to find new ideas and utilize the crystal-clear Springbrook-fed mountain water that is the key to our spirits.

What’s your favorite product you offer and why?
Cowboy Coffee – made with real Madagascar vanilla beans and local Saratoga Springs, NY Kru Coffee. It’s produced with all naturally made ingredients, making it an Espresso Martini in a bottle!

What do you love most about being part of our Farmers Market?
The staff and location have been great to work with there during our first year at the market.
