This week, we’re excited to introduce you to Mountain Winds Farm, one of our full-season vendors.

We spoke with Randall Grippin to learn how this sweet, family-run maple business from Berne, NY got its start.
What do you sell at the market?
Maple products and eggs.
When and how did your business get started?
17 years ago, we started with 50 pails and an outdoor cooking pan to show kids what I did as a kid. It’s now grown to 2,500 taps and a 4×12 evaporator!
What’s your favorite product you offer and why?
Our Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup, it’s very unique.
What’s something people might not know about your business or products?
The amount of work that goes into making maple syrup. It’s a labor of love!
What do you love most about being part of our Farmers Market?
Watching it grow.
