Capital District Regional Market Added to New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry

The Capital District Regional Market has officially been added to the New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry, recognizing more than 90 years of serving local farmers, businesses, and the Capital Region community.
On June 17, Assembly Member Phil Steck visited the Menands Market Pavilion to present the official Historic Business Preservation Registry certificate to Board President Timothy Stanton, Board Member Matt Brizzell, and Administrator Nicole Burke.

The New York State Historic Business Preservation Registry honors businesses and organizations that have made lasting contributions to the state’s history, culture, and economy. The Capital District Regional Market’s inclusion recognizes its longstanding commitment to supporting local agriculture while serving as a gathering place for the Capital Region for more than nine decades.
